Worship has been defined as “the work of the people.” At it’s best, worship invites us into the unfolding mystery of God by providing opportunities to converse with God and give our lives to God and then empowering us to do the work of Christ in the world. Worship is something that needs more than explanation; it needs to be “done.” The worship of God is something we enter into as participants—honestly, just as we are at any given moment—so that we may be continually formed and transformed as God’s people.

Gathering for worship at Calvary takes many forms—from casual to structured. On Sunday morning, the structure includes music, prayer, praise and preaching.
