Christian
Education is seen by all of the staff at Calvary as vitally important
to the ministry we do. Christian Education is not confined to the
classrooms during church school; it touches on everything we do,
in our meetings, our worship, our relationships with each other,
and our outreach to the world. It is also a vital part of being
Baptist, as each of us must continue to learn in order to grow in
faith, both as a community and as individuals.
Calvary's goal is to offer
biblically-based opportunities for learning, training and leadership
that provide nurture and growth for all ages in an atmosphere of
loving, Christian fellowship. To accomplish this goal we have divided
our program into five areas of ministry: children, youth, adults,
family ministries and resources.
Calvary's
Christian Education program has classes and opportunities for everyone,
from infants in the nursery, through children, youth and adults.
Summer church school meets 9–10 am. Calvary also offers special interest forums on "hot topics" such as immigration, a contemporary literature book group and three Adult Bible Studies. |
