Purpose: To enable the sharing of nurture and compassion with the Calvary family through a variety of programs and services that foster community.

Connecting in fellowship

New member sponsorship helps in the integration and get-acquainted process in church life for new members.

Social Activities often are planned by CCL. Small group dinners, all-church events, and a day at a Rockies game helped connect the congregation last year.

Adventures with Anne is a monthly, intergenerational event created by Pastor Anne
Jernberg to meet new friends and get to know them better. Depending on the
destination, many events are half-day, and most are beginner-friendly. Enjoy hiking,
biking, snow-shoeing, skiing, skating, indoor rock climbing and rafting—let's have some fun! Get on the e-mail list to receive monthly invitations and details.

Connecting Points are frequently held dinners for 7 or 8. These small dinner parties held in members' homes help connect the congregation and help everyone get better acquainted.

College student and service personnel liaison is provided by this ministry to keep these young people connected with the church family.

Communication with members who are ill is provided by a member of CCL.

Men's spirituality is one of this ministry's focus, fulfilled through retreats and small groups.

Women's Retreat

Wellness Ministry facilitates wellness opportunities. Support groups are held on issues such as grief, caregiving and divorce recovery.

Stephen Ministries: One-on-one caring visits from trained lay volunteers. Visit the national web site at www.stephenministries.org. Check this out.

Senior Ministries provides support and programming for Calvary's over 65 population.

Modern Matures
This group of active seniors meets on the second Saturday of each month for lunch, fellowship and a dynamic program— informational, entertaining, educational. This group also offers travel opportunities around the country.

VIP Sponsor Program
Calvary members unable to attend church for health reasons are Very Important People. Each homebound person is provided a sponsor who contacts their VIP on a regular basis to offer support and encouragement.
